My truck is in the garage right now tucked away since we got all this salt and crap on the roads from the snow. Waiting for rain so I can get it to my shop to pressure wash it and spray the frame protector.

Are you running a spacer with the OME lift? your truck looks level and usually the OME kit keeps a rake. Following!!!!

 

Nope, no level. I'm surprised how much it hasn't sagged tbh. My 2006 used to say pretty good but not this time around.

 

Wow, it's been a while.

Stayed in Pinchot State Forest last weekend. Was super relaxing and just loving the Tepui tent. Would have been nice if I didn't forget the tent rods at home though..

Wow I haven't updated here in a while.

Went to Vermont September of 2019. Found this secluded camping spot.


October 2019, met up with some of the fine folks here at Tacoma World for the annual AOAA meet. Went on way harder trails than I would have liked but thankfully made it out with no damage. Challenged myself and had a lot of beer at night as my reward.

 

And most recently, Famous Reading Outdoors for the Northeast Overland Festival which was a little more my speed. Not so much technical off-roading. More of the sight seeing and camping. Had a blast and I can't wait for next year!

 

Awesome build man! The shots you’ve taken are incredible! What camera setup you using? Also, how was wheeling in Vermont? I’ve always wanted to get up there in the fall.

thanks for the compliments! Believe it or not, I’m only using a T3i with some Sigma lenses. Looking to upgrade to full frame soon and hopefully a drone to make some YouTube videos.

Vermont was great but I didn’t really do much off-roading. I was alone with no winch. I calculate my risks and I don’t need to prove anything to anyone. If it’s too crazy, I’m not doing it. It was more of a camping trip than anything else. Highly recommend visiting the northeast though. Not much public land to overland like out west but still tons of logging trails. OnXOffroad is very useful if you haven’t already got it!
