Sorry for hijacking the response but.....
100% a different truck. I absolutely LOVE my 3rd gen.
The only actual complaint I had was the same as a lot had, which is sluggish in the lower RPMs, and couldn't tow well unless in D3 or D4 manually.

The OTT tune I got fixed all of those issues, and a few I didn't even know I had with it.
Best mod I've done to my truck hands down and I've done a lot to my truck to the tune of 10k or 12k.
And with the OTT tune soon to be emissions legal, it makes it even better.

Way worth the price paid for sure. If I were you I might try to engage one of the tuners her on TW and likely they can get you in touch with someone local for you.
There is also an OTT thread here on TW that has a tuner map on it and some contact info IIRC.

 

I don’t want to sound like a broken record but it really does feel like how it’s suppose to be out the factory. It’s not just in the throttle response but the overall drive is balanced. The truck feels lighter. 2nd gear may be my least favorite still but 3rd 4th 5th gear is so improved. Mind you I have a 6MT.

 

Painted and ready for tomorrow, only problem, missing hardware. Called Cali raised and they’re going to ship me what I’m missing. So now hopefully next week.

Took 5 minutes to add a small-style switch for the aux high beams. CH4x4 had the ISO-correct graphic for "long-range lamp."
