    All,

I purchased some Big Country side steps from some that no longer wanted them and he had an 06 Tacoma Access Cab but I must be missing something or they do not fit. Here are what the side steps look like in case anyone has them or knows anything about them. Hopefully they will work for my truck and I am just missing it.

I fit my steps into a rock that fit them into my door then I fit them into a dumpster, then fit sliders for the same price

Those look a bit strange, are you sure they came off a Tacoma?

Those appear to mount on a vertical surface, like the frame. Usually side steps bolt upwards to the bottom of the cab. This isn't the best picture, but here are my old side steps that might show what I mean. Mounting surface points up from the bottom, not from the side. Hope that makes sense.

Disregard snarky comments like the other person. While they are correct that side steps don't offer as much protection versus side steps, they ignored your question which was rude. Most people here are helpful, only a small group post silly comments to feel special because their momma didn't love them enough.

used sliders cost the same as step bars.
step bars reduce clearance, damage the truck by ripping out cab threads, and bending into the body denting it.

Could be missing some hardware or they’re not in the right position. They do look strange but I had nerf bars on an old Jeep that mounted to the frame. See how there’s a lip on both of them but they’re both rotated, and flipped in different directions? Could be frame mounted if you can fiddle with different configurations of those mounts.

@wi_taco @Kbar these are frame mounted but the lips just dont seem to mount flush with the lip. I was hoping I could find someone that has these to see pictures on how they were mounted.
