I saw this 2001 Honda Civic in the parking lot of an apartment complex where I delivered an Uber Eats order this afternoon. If this damage had occurred when the car was brand new or a few years old, it probably would be repaired, but due to it being almost 23 years old I think insurance companies would total it. What do you guys think?

My buddy had that exact civic written off for a similar accident.

12 years ago lol. It's toast.

He made a lot of poor choices buying cars, he had a Saab, GM products etc.

Called me up and said he found a 2003 civic manual, I yelled at him buy it or stop asking for help haha

He eventually bought a 2012 Tacoma, had it for 9 years. I made him buy a grey trd sport limo :D

It's less Tacoma and more mod
At this point it's probably a mercy to total it. I'd total it even if it just needs a bumper cover and a trunk lid

You can tell based on the rust that it's been damaged for a while...

That's something you lucky Washington staters don't have to worry about!

If someone has a decent Civic with 250K miles that needs a new engine and this one has less than 100K, then that's one use for this car, and a lot of the body panels seem to be in decent shape (they will fit 2001-2005 Civics). They also have compact car demolition derbies!

My Aunt had an older Civic like that, last year her and my Sister were sitting at a red light and some girl was texting and plowed her Equinox into them, totaled!

    I had 2000 Civic Si.
I was my favorite car that I have ever owned.

There’s something about high RPM engines I love.

Pittsburgh area. I want my parents to look out there.

Heard nothing but good things about Pitt. I’m not intimately familiar with it, but I do know some people who are. If you’re serious about the area, message me and I can ask around about the town.
I rolled through CO a few months ago. Not exaggerating when I say it has some of the rudest people I have ever met. And I grew up in the armpit of America.

If you think TN will be anything like CO, stay away.

I would agree with you. People are assholes here, and that's being nice.

Aside from the power lines, I like it. Kinda reminds me of Anytown, USA on a Christmas card...

And the roads are shit. Cross over from Kansas and it’s hundreds of miles of misery.

You know exactly when you cross the boarder on I-70 into CO. Sign is not necessary.

My poor Lexus has had 3 flats and 4 bent wheels in the past 60K miles. Well 5 wheels since one on my winter set has one that is still bent.
