$57k seems to be the price, which considering the TRD OR prices seems to jive.

The 64.7k seems to be tax and fees included, $0 in cash incentive.

Figures. I always knew you were twisted. Seriously though, I always appreciated the tunes on the bus at Crested Butte.

I picked up my '23 TRD OR Premium w/ adv. tech and 6' bed for $45,847 after $1,500 off MSRP (originally $47,347.)
I just built a '24 TRD OR Premium w/ the $8,860 premium package and the MSRP came out to $53,934 on the site.
I wanted to upgrade before the '24 since I had a 2016 that was rock solid and I figured they can sort out the turbo/hybrid issues and huge markups.
I'd really only be interested in the hybrid option down the road, but I'm skeptical with what prices will look like when they roll out.

I just watched this video. I love how Nathan freaks out about the price at the end. The pricing really is fricken absurd.

I really don’t know why anyone would pay $8K more for a slightly different look and a few extra features. Craziness.

Lol! You don’t know the half of it. :) J/K. pretty boring these days. It’s weird metal, punk, etc makes calm, Adele and the like makes me want to smash shit… lol!

Ooooh, Crested Butte, one of my favorite places, used to go to Taylor Park to ride dirt and mountain bikes. Since I moved to Idaho, too caught up exploring here to make time to head down there.

as they say, “a fool and his money”…

Did I see someone post on here that Tundra MAX models aren't selling?

I guess the straight 3.4 TT is gutsy enough?

I haven’t seen any Max Tundras out in the wild other than a couple Pros.

Skimmed that. A lot of features come standard on a Tacoma and options on the Ranger, is the price about the same when you add those options to the Ranger?

Was comparing a Colorado, it would come in a little cheaper adding options that the Tacoma had standard.

The 3.4 TT feels real healthy, nice power delivery and nice transmission. I think it is just they can't churn them out fast enough. You can hardly find a Prius on the lots so I think batteries are a bottleneck.

Toyota is building a battery factory here, so until that gets up and running in 2025, I think they'll be strained to make enough batteries

This build is already getting spicy

Its actually not that hard to get a Prius or Rav4 hybrid around here. Might take 2-3 months. The PHEVs are a much longer wait (around here). I just wonder if the negligible MPG gain on the iForce Max versus the gas-only model undermines demand.

they are piled up on top of each other here. I’m sure some will buy if they keep coming down on the price.

not many people trust a hybrid.

Roughly 170 Tundras sitting on the lots of the 3 dealers here. More nonhybrid than with. The nonhybrid have $3500+ discount, hybrids almost $5000. Thinking give it another year and we should see some deeper cuts.

Let those prices plummet and we’ll swoop in and buy a leftover in a year or two.

12 non-hybrid and 11 Tundra hybrids showing up online for my local (medium to large size) dealer in Wisconsin. Two of the hybrids are on the lot and are discounted 3K online. I am sure that could be negotiated down and it would not be hard to get the other Tundra models below MSRP. There is no longer a premium on the 3rd gen Tundra.

I configured a 4x4 Lariat w fx4 right at 50k. No interest in Ranger or jumping ship on Toyota though. But it is telling that these prices seem to have an awful lot of owners building & discussing trucks on Chevy/GMC/Nissan/Ford websites, or sudden interest in discounted fullsizers. Not sure that was Toyota’s intent.

Personally, Gen4 now has me feeling like I absolutely stole my truck & found extra cash under the seat. Which is also worth noting b/c apparently the hybrids won’t even have storage under the seat. Happy to step aside for others to clear a path.
