That thing is massive. One of the pickup/1st gen's greatest features was how small, compact and simple they were. They should come out with another Pickup, identical to the old ones, just C-Channel frame so it does not rust out like it did on the old ones.
That and all the other rust issues.

    ‘24 DCSB Tacoma 77.9” wide/213” overall length.
    ‘24 CMSB Tundra 80.1”/ 233”

Not much difference between full and midsize.

I still have a 1st Gen Tacoma, my wife drives it mainly now. Still jump in once a week or so. Prefer the size of my 3rd Gen, while do think it is the Goldilocks size, could use a bit more space at times. That is a Tundra.

They could make a small truck and probably are, it will be a uni body.

My old ‘76 F250 was C-Channel, its frame eventually rusted in half too.

It's not like I'm a professional or anything... my buddy has a 1950's dodge and all he has done on it is undercoating and the frame on that is better than my taco.

Steel was of much better quality back then. All depends where you live too. We had the ‘76 Ford since new, failed in the early 90s, even with body shop up keep every couple years. My ‘99 Taco spent most of its life in AZ (last 9 in Idaho) and the frame still looks good. I get under there and shoot farm implement paint on it once a year.

Like new gen 4 tacoma but the sad part, about it, is they don’t make an access, cab, in a Trd sport, or off-road, in a manual transmission, , as well, what shame, Toyota engineers, but what do you expect for EPA and fuel mileage newer generation, that can’t drive a manual transmission, that means I’m a dying breed of diehard Tacoma drivers that was manual, transmission vehicles, in general

I want to live in my youth again, manual transmission, crank windows no ac or powerlocks, no automatic tailgates, no sunroof, no nannies, eighties pricing perfect I did have a cassette player. I still pull the same boat that I did then. Life was simpler got out locked the hubs and it did the same job. Loved the eighties, and no internet gave me time to get out on the land. Now everything is the oppossite, all the toys, prices insane can't afford to live without working until the last breathe. Now where can I get a manual without waiting months for?.

Yea, this is BS IMO. I was going to wait a year or two for them to work out the bugs but no AC TRD Off Road and no "suicide doors" has me looking for a 2023 or another make all together...

With my AC, I keep a fridge behind the front seat. Such easy "access" for it. With the XtraCab, I think that back would just end up a pit with junk thrown there. Shame.

Nice choice of beer, being from PA and all. :)

Mine had vet duties this week. They get too freaked out riding in the bed, in the cab is bad enough. Lol!

I’m sure it’s easier, but for what it’s worth, I keep a fridge in my xc first gen and it’s pretty easy to access, and that’s without the fold flat seats
