I started sliding in the coffee shop parking lot this morning. Roads were dry and I wasn't even thinking about ice with the temps we've had recently.

My sump dumps into my driveway, which is as much of a grade as you can get in Rhode Island, so this morning....

We have such wild weather here. Tropical monsoon rain one day then freeze it all into a skating rink the next day.

That's Intervale Rd in Farmington, ME. It's known to flood with heavy rains but this might be the worst I've seen.

Bunch of rivers and streams broke records for flooding, some say the man made snow on the mountains added to the water.

I'll try New England BST in a couple days, but in the mean time anyone got used good (I don't care how many miles, they're temporary) UCA/LCA sets that will fit an 09?

It may make sense doing a little bit of a boogie with them to get my truck out of the shop faster.

I took my truck to the car wash today and when I got out I noticed that one of the rubber strips that runs down the roof was half hanging on. I think these are the strips that cover the mounting points for the roof rack. I was able to put it back in place with no problem and it didn't move when I was driving.

My question is if this is supposed to be glued into place or does it just fit in to the pieces in front and behind it?

No leaks, which is good. No damage to the weather strip from what I could see.

If you've never had your LCA's off, there's a good chance you'll end up cutting those bolts to remove them. The hardware itself isn't inexpensive. If it's a speed thing, just making sure you've considered that as a possibility.

I would put some 3m double sided tape or something like that to secure them a bit better as I’m sure they’ll keep coming up

The back tucks into another piece, the front kinda latches to a part in the roof rails, but there is supposed to be factory 3m adhesive holding it down too.

I just got my power back last night at 10:30. I’m across town from @ABA180

I’m the last house on my strip so every house around me except one neighbor never lost power. I was at work when if went out and when I got home it was still rainy and windy so I didn’t do the generator.

We lost the contents of the fridge / freezer but I was able to get my house powered up for a bit. I’m on the break-in period and I’m bummed I had to go past the 1 hour mark without changing the oil. I might be at 3 hours on the new motor which isn’t what I want to do but if I change it now and then again at 5 hours hopefully most of the glitter will be gone.

I have an interlock kit so I can do my whole house if I’m judicious with my usage.

I have a Champion 8,750W inverter. It’s actually on Amazon today for half what I paid for it. I’m impressed with how it works.

The hardest thing for me is cell service went down. Couldn’t text or make calls unless I drove down the street. My littlest one was oscillating between 101 and 104F since Saturday so it was an adventure with no reason why she was sick (all tests came back negative)
