For those who.get noticed for jury duty --I'm exempt .

Just a few days over 75 years old. Actually I'm 77 yrs young

So that box gets checked on the jury duty forms.

I'd probably fall asleep during the trial.

You can still be a Juror.

Remember there are dead people that still vote. "Continually , election after election."

Hell, there are people crossing the borders that are getting vote cards, so your covered to be aa juror.

My father in law is 87 and got a jury duty notice in the mail ( in my PO Box ) I threw it in the garbage!

Very true, all of this. I suppose there are some who would want me on a jury more than others given my experiences.

 

Who's everyone in CT using to mount/balance wheels and tires these days?

 

I've been using my local Firestone, and so far so good.

 

Town Fair.

Zero issues. Latest set on my truck and our Odyssey. Love the free rotation and free swapping on my winter set. My car...eh...no

 

I use Connecticut Tire in Berlin. Connecticut going to them for over twenty years never had a problem.

I really wish you could volunteer to go in when it's convenient. I would have been happy to serve during my 2 year retirement experiment. When people are on unemployment it would be a great way to get out of the house & paid. etc.

Seems to depend on the branch. Danbury branch on Federal Rd, I got tired of going back to have stuff fixed & finally moved on.

 

Won this tonight at our Taekwondo school's Christmas party, in the raffle.



Spent $100, got 50 tickets, won a few other small things with this being the big and final prize.

Gonna replace the 50" we have hanging up on the wall downstairs that we just got in the summer.

 

Damn you fancy huh! I just got a 50" in my living room and couldn't use anything larger in there.

 

This is the current set up in the living room.

The tv is only a 55" which is really small for that big wall.

Eventually we're gonna get something real big and hang it up on the wall, and possibly do a custom built entertainment center to got along with it.
