Truth be told, I have very little out of pocket that went into my whole thing - one of my extra rifle lowers sold for 4-5x as much as I paid for it and that covered my whole table cost

It's made me my money back and more as we now reach 1 year of CNC ownership

I have to say, that is not bad at all

Car still fits in there as we speak, but I could convince her that people don't use garages anyway :anonymous:

been thinking about framing out a small apartment in the shop, adding a shower to the bathroom, and living out there so I can get by without a full-time

It's seriously been a shit ton of fun, but a little worrisome at first considering I had no CNC experience before

Hell, I didn't have welding experience three years ago either

Took a woman that supported and believed in me to make it happen, and a few amazing friends :fistbump:

yes, exactly. i could cover my mortgage and probably utilities just by renting out the house.
F350 is close to paid off so I'd just be chilling. .Could work part time doing whatever I'd like

I hit critical level of ADHD/autism burnout so I'm not sure I can full time forever but I'm gonna give it one more go at least while I decide what my 5 year plan is lol

That's good having your finances thought out and planned; helps to stay within your means and stuff

As for your last statement, if you're good at what you did/do, why not continue doing it?

Your last employer was more than a shit show with all the discrimination you've dealt with and more; I can only suggest you look at your future potential employers as a fresh start and not get in the mindset that what happened before will happen again.

It's like an ex; my last one damn near acted like I didn't exist. Wasn't fair to think Stephanie would do the same when we first got together.

I hope your new employment works out for you though, you need and deserve it.

Then, I say you look into getting your certification or whatever qualifications you need for something else as you'll have one less thing to worry about (finances).

I can be a great software dev, it just takes the right environment... You're right though, that's something I've been working on with my DVR representative. They've been coaching me on the fact I was in a shitty place where I was tortured for being myself and punished for things outside of my control but that doesn't mean I won't find a place where I can succeed or even thrive...time will tell :)
