You can fit 34's at stock height with a 1/4" spacer on the stock 17" rims.

With a good alignment you can fit 34's. 0 offset is ideal.

Do 1/4” spacers need to be hub centric ? I really really want to try and mount my old fj60 15” wheels on. But not enough to grind the caliper. IMG_1904.png

I believe BORA is the recommended and preferred brand of wheel spacers if you're going to run them. Hub centric.

edit: not sure about the compatibility of those old 15" FJ wheels.

My 1/4" spacers are not and I had no issue with them. I did put longer wheel studs on the hubs and axles though.

    Enough for now
which tire brands? There is no way my Mickey Thompson Baja boss 255/85/17 would fit on a stick suspension with a 1/4 spacer.
and by fit are we talking pavement only or going off road?

You wouldn't need the spacer with those. The spacer is to keep a wider tire off the UCA. You can fit those with a good alignment on the +30 sport wheels. Full suspension travel lock to lock. I heavily off-road my truck.

I misread and thought you were talking about a top hat shock spacer. Wheel spacer makes more sense now.
