URD Short throw

Does anyone have the kit that URD sells for the 05' taco short shifter??
i am looking at getting one and have read acouple reviews where guys are saying it makes going into reverse alot harder!? is this true?

its true but you will get used to it. even if you have girlie arms like me. i dont even notice it now

i think so. but i absolutely hated the way it shifted stock. much better now

 

I Installed this about 6 mos ago, and love it. Alot more crisp shifts. I can actually rest my arm on the center console while shifting, unlike the stock set up. The reverse will take a couple of times getting use to, but nothing to be discouraged about. If URD made it, its for a reason; mostlikely cause its worth it

how hard is the install?

 

Shifter is a must for anyone with a 6-speed tranny. I had one in my old X-Runner and it was huge improvement. The install was extremely easy as-well, came with really good instructions.
