I may* have had Covid once - this past August.
I didn't have any tests and the dude that got me sick also didn't test himself
He did not stay home from work while sick = me sick
I did stay home and away from others till I felt somewhat better and no fever

Good morning all.

For those who have wished me good luck in my job search / yesterday's interview, I can share some info/hopeful news.

I interviewed with the hiring manager, and then an HR person.

Hiring manager looks like he has a personality that I could get along very well with. His ideas on how he wants his team to operate jive almost exactly with my own opinions on this job function, so that's good. He told me I gave some of the better answers to his "think on your feet/not job related" questions. He needs to replace a recently let go low performing team member, so he is planning to make an offer for this position very soon, so the person can start right after the New Year.

The HR person gave me info on the paid company holiday and vacation policies, annual bonus info, and also told me, when she asked what my salary expectations were, "That's right in the range we're planning to offer for this position, but it is also negotiable". She also confirmed an offer will likely be sent out by end of this week to whomever is chosen, as the company is completely closed for the entire week of Christmas - New Year's, so they will want the offer sent, and if accepted, the new person can start in very early January.

I am very hopeful this sill work out, I'll let you all know what I end up hearing back from this company.
