If your weight is going to be fairly consistent throughout the year with occasional short runs locally with loads (furniture, etc), are adjusters really needed if you get custom valving from Accutune? I don't want to spend close to another $1k for adjusters if they're not going to be needed for my needs. If I did a lot of offroading with variations in loads then I could see spending the extra money for that. Thanks!

    Need...nah.
I have adjusters and tuned (Downsouth Motorsports) and have never needed to adjust them when I use my truck as you've described. I wanted them because I knew I would end up wanting adjusters down the road.

Hard question for someone to answer for you really. I had to double check I didn't already DM you about this, bc the same question was recently asked. If your weight is not changing often or drastically, adjusters are not necessary. They are more for those looking to fine tune the shocks, stiffen up for off-road use, or compensate for added weight etc. If you dont see yourself being worried about that, no need. Keep in mind we do offer a free revalve for the entire time you own the shocks. Daily driver today, baja 1000 racer next year... we will revalve it for ya.

Cost difference btw Fox 2.5 shocks with and without adjusters $562.50
Cost difference btw King 2.5 shocks with and without adjusters $773.00
cost to upgrade them later on, upwards of $400/each (not including shipping or labor to remove/install)
Custom tuning for your trucks weight FREE ($530 value)

I like the Fox 2.5 FRS w/ DSC but I can't justify the cost ($4100) in my opinion when non-adjustable Kings are $3k. Even the Fox Elite series are $3800 which is the same as King w/ adjusters. Something that I find confusing on forums though is people talk about how expensive Kings are compared to other brands, however what I'm seeing is they're identical to Fox and Bilstein 8100s, if not cheaper. Anyways, I'm just rambling. Thanks for the information!

    Ramble on!
-Higher price comes with higher quality parts & usually more features/benefits. (not always the case)
-Its easy to compare the most well known brands vs all brands. There are other brands in the mix that are WAY more expensive than Fox but offer the same performance as King.
-Our goal is to provide as many facts as possible for you to make a good choice.

Above you compared Fox PES to King, not sure if you've seen our articles or not but may be worth checking out.

Thanks! I was also looking at ADS which also appears to be a high quality alternative but is also more money then I want to spend. Not that they aren't worth it, it's just out of my budget. I prefer to stay with Fox or King so I can use you guys. Accutune's customer service seems to be phenomenal and the custom valving is in my opinion a necessity.
