the trick is to have low standards and upgrade furniture every time someone offers you theirs (they're too lazy to move it to the new place so it's free)

I got all my good stuff from a guy who's wife was taking the house so he sold all the furniture. It was nice stuff.

So, my buddy called me earlier and we were on the phone for awhile

He brought up the dinosaur asking "how much are you selling those for?"

    Mind you he's the one with a 5' x 10' table

I told him "$125" and he said "that's too cheap you need to ask for $165"

Wanted to prove a point, and he just did - he posted in his area (we live 25 mins away) my dinosaur puzzle for $165 and just texted me he sold it so....I'll be cutting another one or two (depending how many he sells)

So yeah, he made a quick $40 and I still make money as well

Said he doesn't even want the file, that I should just cut them out and he can sell them where he lives

I went to Mor. Not sure if they are regional or nationwide. But I guess I should have heard about delivery by now...
Did you not see my picture?
I got one with a center console. Mom said I needed a couch in case I bring a girl back to my place or she would think I'm weird. So I got one that's ugly but has cup holders. Should work right?
    How's my couch?

Comfy couches and ladies do go well together. I want to find one that’s just simple and comfy. Power nothing. I had a worn out leather couch in college and that thing was so ridiculously comfy.

I also tend to sleep on mine if I toss and turn in bed. The change seems to put me right to sleep.

I was just wondering about that. I’d like some replacement SR5 decals for Christmas.

I saw this come up recently but knew I wouldn’t be able to make it down to Dallas in time to snap it up, even if I had the disposable cash on hand. Honestly Marketplace is torture when you’re not rich :annoyed:

That's a rare color. 100s around DFW are usually reasonably priced. Expect to find them in need of all hoses, TB, and most likely an aftermarket CV.

That's almost an average price. I turned down a $15k offer on my 99 in late 2019 when I had it looking at its best. I couldn't replace it for that.

Last summer, I was fairly depressed about not having a 4x4 to drive to Jambo. Also, I was a little embarrassed about driving a PreRunner.

But at least a dozen people came up wanting to look at it and talk about it. I think a clean 1st gen will turn heads anywhere.
