2016 Tacoma Sport 4 door is getting moisture inside the cab and actually condensing water droplets on the inside of the windshield. It doesn’t even have to rain; just the evening dew and temperature change. Has anyone experienced this?

Can get some Dri-Z-Air or something like it and stick it in the truck. Will suck the moisture outta the air.

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
Maybe it's just your local climate and humidity levels. Are you running A/C constantly? Without or without Recirculate on? I've encountered certain situations causing condensation on the inside of the windshield. My solution has been to turn on Windshield defrost OR open a window or 2 a crack to better move the air around the inside of the cab.

All good suggestions but I’m afraid it’s something else. I bought this new in Feb of 2016, so I know my truck and this just started. This isn’t just “fog” rather water droplets that have condensed on the glass interior. And there doesn’t appear to be any consistency.

Have you checked your carpeted floor everywhere? It's one way to check if water is getting in somewhere, cause, it obviously is. For my old truck (a chevy, not a taco), there was some front windshield drain that plugged and when it backed up it ran into the front passenger floorboard.

you do raise some interesting conditions I haven’t thought of. My climate has had no effect on this issue. Meaning I had the truck under the same climate variances for almost 8 years. I’ll try a DampRid and see if it pulls moisture.

I have checked the carpet but not thoroughly. I’ll do that tomorrow and advise.

All great advice guys. I appreciate it.

Check headliner for moisture as well. I know the sunroof drains can get clogged and back up, but I forget where exactly that leaks into the cab.
I would check sunroof drains or roof rack mounting points (both if applicable) if headliner is wet and windshield cowl drains, a/c drain hose and windshield seal if the carpet under the dash is wet.
You could also verify the drains at the bottom of your doors are clean and clear. I saw a post about those being blocked and a door filling up with water

My truck doesn’t have a sunroof but good point about headliner. I’ll check.

Maybe I missed it; was the cab mount 3rd brake light checked and/or replaced?
It sounds like maybe something is letting water in, and the interior may not be drying out fully in between rains?

I thought of that too. I replaced the third brake light two years ago. It’s the first thing I checked but it appears to be tightly sealed and everything is dry in the cubbies.

Check the rubber door seals? Mine were loose from factory and leaking water for three years before I found out where it was leaking.

As others have said, check for moisture inside the truck. Dealing with a similar problem with my daughter’s Audi Q3. They seem to have a systemic problem with leaking sun roofs.

I had this problem with my 88 Mustang. Turned out to be a leaking heater core. Check the carpet on the passenger side. Good luck, I hope you get the issue resolved.
