All of the above is my current headache.
Looking to do pizza cutters.
But, with the JBAs, I need to do different wheels, and keep getting turned around on the offset/backspacing choices, etc.

I'm just gonna sell the stupid duty and buy another Jeep... simpler...

In the 4 years I have been putting christmas lights on the truck, this is the year that I got pulled over by a state trooper and issued a citation for noncompliant aftermarket lights. He mentioned it was mainly for the low riders that have the underglow, but mine was considered a distraction. I did end up passing like 6 state troopers total within 30 mins as well.

So @crashngiggles and @GarlicFarts be warned, they are getting aggressive around this time.

On that note, anyone know of a lawyer or someone that is good at dealing with citations of this sort?

I've heard blue can be iffy but if it's just white lights you're good. I only have my rack done up. Have passed a ton of officers with it no issue. I know you do the limb risers too right?

I’ve done this the last 4 years and passed by so many cops I can’t remember, state and local alike.

My lights are red, orange, green, blue. All non flashing. Yes to limb risers.

I might contact news, but I hope they can do something quick-ish since it’s only got 20 days to pay/fight it.

 

Frame it. I was BEGGING the cops who popped me for speeding on my bicycle to give me a ticket so i could frame it and mount it on the wall.

Sounds like they were spray and praying for DWIs and needed to justify the stop.

 

I personally think they are trying to meet quota. Legit saw 4 people (including myself) pulled over within 30 mins along 495/93 area.

 

Jeez. I guess the red and blue technically are not okay (fire and police colours) but not sure if he went for that reason or not. Can't hurt to contact the news, as that's just ridiculous in my book.

 

I left my dash Cam Mount on my old truck because I thought I had another. Turns out the spare didn't let me angle the camera properly. So I ordered one from Garmin - the tracking history is pretty funny.

 

I know the biggest issue would be the colors. I believe non emergency can only have white and amber besides tail lights.

But on a realistic note, was the trooper young? He may have recently got out on his own and has a chip on his shoulder. I had that about tens years ago and got stop and frisked up at Littleville Dam

I've carried a multitool on me every day for as long as I can remember. For the past 10 years or so, it's been a Leatherman Wingman - definitely not a high end tool, but it did what I needed it to do.

The magnetic retention is nice and the whole thing feels very high quality. The screwdriver is much improved over my Wingman and making the end of the tool flat so it can be used as a hammer is very smart - I found myself trying to do that a lot in a pinch with my last multitool. I'll have to look up what I should use for a sharpener for Magnacut steel. My last one was just 420HC, so a little $10 sharpener from Tractor Supply worked fine.

 

Great, now I want to bring a Buick to Rausch!

 

I'd just fight it. Honestly when a judge hears that they will most certainly throw it out.

BTW, too bad this didn't happen in RI. If it had you could have fought it with the Judge that's on TV. That guy has a great sense of humor!
