People were laughing earlier this year when we were talking about 60, 65, and $70k Tacomas. I think that laughter has stopped now that it’s looking like a real possibility.

There is a TFL video of a regular Limited and it's just normal 4x4, looking like you will have to step up to Hybrid for AWD.

I've owned two 3rd gen limiteds - it's pretty easy to get rid of the chrome.

The only thing that seems like it would be a little more challenging is door handles, and although I know it's an option, I don't like the idea of vinyl decals on a hard wearing surface and would prefer to swap the whole handle.

Tbh, not really with it considering the costs. I got some door handle covers from Amazon for like $50 or something. They work great. My truck is black and they're black.

nice, I’m seeing now the huge amount of accessories, grills, handle covers etc for the gen 3 trucks. So I agree not a big deal.

related question - does anyone know if it’s customary to get also get the stock wheels if you select the TRD black wheels as an accessory? I’m guessing not, but I have no idea hence the ask. If they don’t include both it almost makes sense to me to buy the black rims separately.

What happens is they'll sell it on top of the deal and keep the rims for themselves. Buy them as part of the deal, but 100% demand you get the rims back in the box.

I can see you getting them back if you bought the new wheels through the dealer but doubtful your getting them if installed at the port.

PIO wheel options will definitely not get you a second set. DIO, you keep them or at least bargain for a discount if the dealer is keeping them. (You should just keep them).

I want the options the Limited has but hate the chrome. I dont care about the running boards or the HUD but I do want to 360 camera and vented seats. When you option up the Sport its just about the same price. I guess you can argue that it will be about another 1K+ by the time you get new rims and replace the other chrome parts..

I would love to give a review of the Tacoma Limited with the iForceMax. My name is on a local dealer allocation for that vehicle and the build date is this month 7/15 ish and 3 or 4 weeks after that to get in my hands. I can tell you the price point after Mother Toyota puts their extras on it is just over 60K. But I want all the bells and whistles so I will live with that.
