No, I didn't buy myself a gun. Look at the name of the pizza place, then watch the opening credits of The Sopranos...

    I had a 938.
It was ok. Then went with a Micro 9.
And finally sold the “expensive” ones.
And picked up that “cheap” Hellcat OSP.

I’ve had my G23 for 17 years. So that should tell you my thoughts on Glocks.

The Toyota Corolla of firearms for sure. They just run. Plenty of mods available to make them "Prefect". :D

I'm still rocking my bone stock gen 3 19. Good to practice with everything to experience all the variations in grip angle, etc.

I find the 938 virtually useless. The 365 lineup is solid for conceal carry.

Damn. I used to have a G23C. I gave it to one of my best friends ( served in the navy with him) after his divorce. He still has it today and carried it during his 25 years of federal LE.

I would like another G19. I may just buy a frame and go all custom with it.

I would agree with your assessment of the 938

    Go with a G23 slide.
Then swap barrels. The 357 sig is a “blast” to shoot.
You can toss in a 9mm barrel too.

I still prefer the 3 pin 9mm frames. So, I’d also recommend a Gen 4 or earlier frame.

The nights are dim on mine.
Truth be told, they sucked in the day light anyways.
I need to borrow a sight pusher and change them out.

Do you have to buy it?

What firearm would you recommend as a first gun purchase?

No kidding. I could make a valid argument for why suppressors should be legal in all states with no class III restrictions.

Because those damn gun owners, making all that noise.

If it weren’t for the paperwork, the waiting time, and $200. I’d own one.

I mean, there are no regulations on integral suppressed air guns.
    Why firearms?

Oh no. That's on par with the weekly "what's the best oil?" thread.
