they'll fit. ideally youd like to find a set with springs though. give the front a slight lift. dont know how they'll play with stock springs. but likely fine

you cant really use these with 2.5" lifts. you'd want to go with bilstein 5100s at that point. these are maybe a 1" lift with the stock 3rd gen springs

Yup silver 5100s and they have rubber boots, 4600s are yellow but bigger than the ones you posted.

Stock offroads are 42mm, 4600 and 5100s are 46mm shocks. 5100's have longer travel.

Factory TRD shocks 42mm, they're ok for 300$ but for all the work involved and if you want to lift, buy once, cry once.

Slippery slope though. 5100's can lift with aftermarket or factory springs.

I'm canadian, but they show up for me in places like rock auto. Many many places have them, just watch shipping costs.

I've bought 4600s from Amazon no issue.

I’d recommend Facebook Marketplace as it seems to be the most active. I’ll second buying from Rock Auto as they’ve always been good. Those Off-road Tacoma shocks without the springs I would stay away from. The front springs installed with the coil springs are really the selling point, which is what I have on my 2015 (3rd Gen suspension all around) and they’ve been great. I actually have 5100s shocks on the back, which I would recommend.

Will it be an upgrade over worn out stock shocks, yes. Is the price and effort worth it, no.
