Hey I’ve got a 2002 tacoma double cab sr5 power locks etc. I’m trying to add the rs3200 keyless entry, I found a 2003 or 04 Tacoma double cab sr5 (production date 09/03) at the local wrecker I started pulling the module and harness but the harness off of the rs3200 ended up joining the main harness and now where to disconnect like I’ve seen on others. Am I missing something? I thought it was something that could be removed separately or are the only certain years that will work? Thanks. PFA

Where did you get your grill and hood from?

Yes it was from a double cab, I ended up finding another donor truck and was able to pull it successfully.

I had this same issue last week.. I found a TRD 2002 or 03 with an SR3200, Xtra cab like min, but the system was wired into the main harness.

Did you find any answers to this? I'm reading around that 2002s had the job done at the dealer so there could have been different levels of work aka no plug and play harness.

My 02 had one that was dealer installed but I chose not to pay the extra $300 they wanted on top of the purchase price....so they removed it, quick and easy. It must have been plug n play because when I later purchased and installed the same unit there was no evidence that any weird splicing or hard wiring had previously been done. No pictures?
