Merry Christmas fellas. It’s a balmy 67 degrees here in upstate SC. Probably be swatting skeeters next week deer hunting.

Hello all & merry Christmas I’m very new to the site & might get blocked for this pic , hopefully not as this is a deer hunting thread- I have chased this deer all season had at 40 yds in bow season & in smokepole crosshairs 4 times!! This was the first deer I’d taken since I got the Tacoma and I wanted to get a pic on tailgate!!! Oh man it was brutal but I got it up there , again I apologize if pics like this are offensive to anyone ( I 4FCC517C-58F3-4353-A420-F28609D5E96B.jpg love it)

Or having a doe come into a Turkey blind not once but twice to give kissies and have her neck scratched.
By far my most memorable hunting experience.

Think I’ve posted this here somewhere before. Ran into “George Jr.” a few years back a few times. George Sr. was supposed to be a big buck a neighbor released on an adjacent track by the farm years ago. Fella that ran cows on the farm said “George” would cross the road with the cows when he moved them between pastures. Always thought I shoulda walked the property calling for George. So when I ran up on this fella I had to name him appropriately.

@yota243 been thinking on the gun issue. may look at the crown on the end of the barrel. if you nicked it on the crown somehow which isnt hard to do can cause a good gun to go alittle wild.
