Question is if your truck didn't come with the led package interior (dome vanity ) and exterior (fog lights) is the wiring the same? is it just plug and play or is the wiring different and needs to be retrofitted? Thanks

I put aftermarket LEDs in map and dome lights with no additional wiring.

    Can’t speak to the fogs.

I installed LED interiors and diodes in the foglight housing (replacing the halogens) with no problems.

Rexing front and rear dash camera, some LEDs, Weathertech HP floor liners/vent shades/bug deflector/underseat storage bin, OEM Ford bed mat, Diode Dynamics SS3 Pros in selective yellow, Diode Dynamics 18" light bar in amber and universal Carhartt seat covers. Bak Revolver X4S tonneau cover. Android Auto USB plug upgrade! H11 to H9. Sound deadened/insulated floors and rear wall. VLED license plate reverse light. Yokohama GO15s. Rokblokz mud flaps. "Custom" 3in Flowmaster Super 50 Series cat back with a 3in Speedys Snap resonator. J&L catch can. AMP Powersteps
LEDs work okay in map lights. Some go one step further and buy LED units from company's like MESO.

You can put LEDs in the fogs but a complete upgrade like the Diode Dynamics SS3 lights would be much better!

Best bang for the buck without breaking the bank is buy a set of oem takeoff led fogs from someone on here.

I've got Meso dual color map and dome lights, ss3 max fogs, and the pro led headlights. Only aftermarket harness needed was for the headlight conversion.

There's an LED interior light package? If so, I haven't seen one. Regardless, yes, many people have done full LED swaps on their truck.

As others have said, I really like my Meso red/white interior LED lights. One of my favorite additions.

I went with Vleds to replace my interior lights. Some of the best money I've spent on my Tacoma.

I have read a few recent threads about LED interior light issues. The issue is not "feedback to the truck" because LEDs have resistors and other components to convert the electrical loads. LED failure is in these components and affect the LEDs themselves instead of the truck.

As best I understand from those other posts.

Vleds ftw. Got a lot of their stuff. Just make sure you turn them on before you reassemble. They tend to be polar specific.
