Replaced my blower motor resistor and plug with the 3rd Gen one like the TSB recommended. We’ll see how long this one lasts! The one I took out looked original.

I will be more than curious as to how this works, long term. I find that every time I replace it, it works for ~three on/off cycles and then position three is running at the same speed as position two, permanently. SIGH!

I need to do this. Mine has a break in a wire and goes in and out. I have to old it just right for the blower to stay on. I'm assuming you needed to splice this in?

Put some charcoal metallic decal inserts on my wheels. I'm on the fence about it. I'm even considering making it all black. This is a spare set of caps I did this on, so I still have the other red ones to switch out.

Replaced the battery, 2nd time in life of vehicle. This one was about 5.5 years old. Still started fine and no issues, but voltage was sub 12v. NAPA was closed yesterday so splurged, spent a few extra dollars, and went with a Toyota branded battery (there are only a handful of battery manufacturers in the US... so I'm not sure brand makes much difference).

Did the pcv valve on the Tacoma, and got it a friend. My wife totaled her Silverado a few weeks back.

Got tired of waiting for meso customs to bring back their dome light so I opted out for something different. A Baja design rock light on a swivel.

Thanks, it’s not perfect but it’s 100+ years old. Never thought 5 bays wouldn’t be enough room.

Yeah. I just cut the wires right before the original plug and did a butt splice and heat shrink to connect the new pigtail. They give you a bunch of length so there’s room for error. Very simple but a little cramped to work under the dash.

Ok cool. So the 3rd Gen pigtail/plug will plug directly into the 2nd Gen blower?

It plugs into the 3rd Gen resistor, which bolts up to the blower motor just like the original. I attached the tsb in case that’s helpful.

Snorkel delete. Antenna was a bitch and wouldn't come off. That will come at a later time.

Hardest part was probably the pin stripe lol

Shame you couldn't tackle that antenna at the same time. I am not an off roader but I always wondered how bad it would be to go non snorkel after having one. Good job on the finish. Pin striping is meticulous. Did that in the late 70's working new car prep at a dealer. Won't be doing that ever again.
