Shuddering on acceleration from 0: I know the probable fixes, but is it necessary?

I know there is SO much info out there on resolving driveline vibrations post-lift, and I already have like 5 things I could try next. My question is, if I don't actually mind it much, is it doing any damage if I leave it alone for now? The vibration is pretty minimal, and only on acceleration from stop for less than 2 seconds. I will definitely go down the vibration resolution rabbit hole someday, but I really just want to be done taking apart my suspension for a while (especially because it's cold and my garage is freezing). Is there any risk that it might cause damage? If so, what kind? could it cause premature wear on the pinion gear or the carrier bearing?

details: I have a 2014 DCSB, and installed an Icon RTX leaf pack w/ option 2 (the middle setting).

    Thanks!

Any modification you do will have some type of consequence on other components. I've had the exact shudder you mention since the truck was new and had it with a spacer/aal lift. Upgrading to icon stage 8 with rxt leaf's at option 2 helped. Installing a a carrier shim (takes about 5 minutes) and starting out easy on the gas pedal has pretty much cured it.

You may wear out your carrier bearing or U joints faster but that's probably all. I drove around like that for almost 2 years like that and just rebuilt my joints/bearing so it isn't going to do anything bad overnight unless those bearings are already worn out.

As mentioned above, if you want to give it a quick and dirty shot one last time try shimming the carrier bearing with some washers or actual shim kit and see if it helps; if not it only takes a few minutes to change back. Then play with it more come springtime. That's my plan and I'm going through the same things right now.
