Putting subs in DC Taco

Just got a new tacoma DC and was wondering if there was a way to put a sub in an inconspicuous place, without removing the storage bin from behine the back seat. Anybody know?

 

Check *********.com. Iused them for there speaker adapters and they sucked.

 

I just bought a Basslink. Easy in and out with a HD connector and it does a great job in the cab unless you want to become a neighborhood radio station. The you will need to push a whole lot more air and that requires removing panels and custom boxes and generally a lot more expense for the benefit of those who may or may not want to hear what you are listeining to. I dropped mine behind the driver seat. But it can be placed anywhere.

What kind of fabrication skills do you have? I've done it but it's not something I'd recommend unless you're skilled and patient.

Fab skills are 0. so that is prob not an option. Ha thanks for the input though

Did you reinforce the box somehow, i.e., is there fiberglass under the baffle plate or ???

Was considering trying to put 8s in the rear doors, but your solution looks better. For my style of listening I don't need a lot of bass, just a bit of low end fill. So I'm trying to determine just how much effort I need to expend (I'm lazy in case you couldn't tell).

 

The lower is fiberglassed. I did it more for sealing it than structure. I mean it's plate steel so it doesn't flex much. Problem is that it's all slotted with holes and vents so you need to seal it up somehow.
