So, when are you selling your awful abomination of a truck? Seems like you could have discovered the "lazy engineering" before you made the purchase and saved us all a bunch of complaining! Merry Christmas!

I don't understand all of the people who complain about this. In the 4 seconds it takes to restart your truck after climbing in, all of the heat must escape the cabin and they freeze while waiting for the heater to kick on. Unless I'm a getaway driver, I'm never in such a hurry that I can't wait for my truck to start.

Careful. There’s a thin skinned Hannah-Barbera character who doesn’t take kindly to this opinion and will be sure to let you know as much. We just had this “discussion” a couple pages back.

And add my Ram 2500 Diesel to the above mentioned vehicles. Remote start by app or fob and stays running, nothing else works without the fob and it stays locked

Got my new toughbook today with techstream for my 2019 overhaul!! The damage this thing can do is limitless hahaha. Already plugged the obd in and almost immediately I could see the difference between this and my innova 7111. Even my solus doesn't compare to this bad boy. Fluid filmed my baby Taco

I wanted shop to do it, but guess what? I brought it 1 month ago to 4 different shops, all BOOKED... I had no idea and thought that business would be slow, but turns out people book it all the way from Jan,Feb lol..

So this time I did it myself, I actually got to most of the frame, from both sides , but obviously not everywhere.. I don't even have a lift or garage .

I booked them for Feb, so hopefully they won't mind this mess, clean it and reapply.

The truck isn't the awful abomination - the excuse is. Just call it what it is and quit trying to candy coat it as something else.
Toyota can't fix it if it isn't a problem and it isn't a problem as long as it masquerades as a theft deterrent.
