I had no idea there even was an excuse. I forget it even has that feature (and it was -5 F when I left this morning). There are other things in life I have to worry about more. Same with the volume button direction; it works the way it works and it doesn't bother me. The Qi charger; it's useless but I have a cable. The "missing" tailgate power lock; I actually enjoyed installing that myself.

We all have things that annoy us and I don't mind folks telling us about them. The ideas and changes to rid one's truck of the annoyances are a pleasure to read/see even if I'd never do it. I love the creativity from the most basic cosmetic mod to full rebuilds. Yet I doubt many enjoy feeling like they are being told what to think or are called names regardless of how much they love or hate their truck.

I hope you can solve this earth-shattering problem so that you move on to trivial matters like taxes, college funds for children, retirement accounts ...

I sent you a Hickory Farms cheese assortment ...

I feel like they have become so popular among the 4Runner/tacoma owners that now when I see grille lights approaching, it’s one of those 2 vehicles like 90% of the time. Soon they won’t even be called Raptor lights

@Nadjr Great looking sliders and color combo. Is it practical to also use those sliders as steps ? Do you think the sliders will help with door dings ? thank you for any help.

They will definitely help with door dings, and they help with access to the prinsu.

I must admit, I drove to Carson City, NV. to pick up the parts and some pew pew stuff. So I went from, basically, sea level in CA. to the mountains. The truck is absurd heading up through Tahoe. Just gutless and shifts all over the place. Its annoying and makes me miss boost and a manual.
I installed the piece at my parent's place and drove it around town. Zero register on the butt dyno. I really felt nothing. Once we left and we hit the mountains and highway, that is when I noticed differences in shifting and acceleration through the mid range at highway speeds. So, when passing mouth breathing tourist drones hogging the left lane, I could feel a noticable difference. This morning, when leaving for work, I was forced to pass a hybrid zombie while entering the highway. It was noticable in this case as well. So, between 40mph and 80mph. In that window. The accelaration is more linear. It feels nice.

PSA: If you cannot maintain the speed limit in the left lane, GTFO of the way. Thank you.
