I'm late to the party but Merry Christmas to all y'all hooligans and hope you were on the "nice" list this year. Santa brought me a big old lump of coal but with the miracle of new tools, heat, hammers, and impact guns I have defeated the Grinch in hand-to-metal combat. Now I just need to get it back together, balanced, and reinstalled to try and make it for the 30th.

I like to think it helped move the process along.
That and the help of my autistic son, who has no filter and an affinity for everything being his way, was repeatedly telling her to "Go home".

A nice one piece could have made this all better...

Edit: How come there are no scratches on that drive shaft?

I hear what you’re saying, but a one piece shaft ain’t going to stop needle bearings from disintegrating. I don’t think the previous owner was a fan of greasing them lol.

And not everything needs scratches to mean you are having fun. I want mine to last a long time, count me as part of team “Anti-Scratch” lol.

Oh we are doing age-ist jokes today? At least my "young" self knows how to operate a 4x4 switch. Suppose those didn't exist for you senior citizens when all you had to do was hitch a ride on a brontosaurus.

PS - I wish I was as young as you think, my back freakin hurts today. I guess crawling around on the ground moving driveshafts at odd angles isn't so good for that...
