Changed struts in my wifes CR-V today. Should have taken a bit over an hour to do both... but rust happens so it took 5 and a trip to Napa for additional sway bar struts. Used my neighbors shop which also added an hour for the mess and easter egg hunt method of tool storage. People who work with tools for a living SHOULD know better (but in defense, it is his mess and he might know where things are (but I know better.)) Job done. Car is better. Wife is happy.

As I am looking at this spot, I am finding all kinds of other places to explore I have never heard about; for instance, the Grand Marais Truck Road? Who knew? The whole Superior side of the UP looks like it has dirt roads to explore...

Drummond Island will happen this summer. Not sure when. We have a big trip out West planned and I need to find a week for this one around my summer work... I can only hope the winch comes out!

 

Depending on timing, I'm down to join. Should have more armor on the 80 by then.
