I'd spoken with our vet a couple months back and he was going to come to the house to do it. Ive spoken with a friend that is a retired vet and knows Link well. He's trying to see when the vet is open again or what he can do.

NM. Wife got me the icon digital torque wrench for Christmas! God I love her. Was so surprised. Have been wanting one for a while but never pulled trigger. Just as good as the snap on one. Watched a lot of video comparing the 2.

I bought one of the regular HF 3/8 torque wrenches years ago. They had a great rep. My dad gave me a 1/2 Snap-on probably 20 years ago.

I have no doubt that if I were using it in a professional manner...........I'd want Snap-on. For me though, HF is more than fine. I can buy a lot of the cheap $9 angle grinders(even keep a spare just in case :D) for the cost of one high-end one :D

yea idk, i don't like buying stuff based on name alone. Its hard to argue the numbers from the video and also the icon does have a lifetime warranty were as the snap on only has a 4 year. You could pop into any HF store and most likly it would be in stock. That goes a long way for my considering its a digital product that will probably fail at some point. But to each his own. Just couldn't see paying 2.5 times that when they are so similar lol.

It's a great thing we have options. I have no intentions of making a living off tools..........so a HF junkie I will stay

    Merry Christmas again to all!

Asia cruise was cool for first trip. Been in a few of the ports before. Time in ports (1 day) is not long enough (biggest criticism of cruise trips). Best part was buying the spa package (thermal baths, steam room, sauna, and heated lounging chairs with a view out the front of the ship). What would I have done different: Flown to Manilla first and take trips to these places for longer stays and include a few different countries (Japan, maybe Hong Kong).

    Bangkok, Thailand

    Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

    Singapore

    - Lounging with a city view

    IMG_0335.jpg

    Muara, Brunei

    Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia

    - Nice Hilux. What we need in the US.

    Puerto Princesca, Philippines

Borocay, Philippines (Anyone that’s single would have a great time here. Night life would be exceptional.)

Two weeks stay at wife’s home with family. Drove a bit for the first time in another country. Been watching how to drive there on a lot of previous trips and managed to get the family’s car back to them without any dents.

One of the wife’s aunts home for a holiday dinner.

Tarlac and Cabunatuan monuments (film – The Great Raid). Wife’s home stands directly on the road of the Bataan Death March (primary coastal road that was there 81 years ago during WWII). Her Mom and Dad were 16 when WWII started. They lived between Subic and Clark Air Base and about 75 miles from Manilla. Not a pleasant time.

Hunting sooty terns (a first for there also). Family friend’s son that we hunted with has a restaurant and fixed the birds, goat, beef and goat soup for us to have dinner. House/restaurant has some beautiful antiques including an original Philippine canoe that have to be over a 100 years old.

So back to the grind with honey do list and getting a doe for the larder.

Vet will come to the house tomorrow afternoon. Even though they were closed today he offered to come but I declined because I think we can manage until tomorrow.

Man I hate to hear that. I know it’s always around the corner, but that doesn’t make it any easier. We’re a dog family ourselves. Lex and I will keep you in our thoughts.
