A buddy and I are going up through Stampede Pass tomorrow (12/16) to go play in the snow. If anybody is bored and wants to go get stuck, let me know.

I remember that all being a secret lol

I feel like its kind of one of those legends of this thread. Along with hydro locked engines out at Tahuya.

Kept everything hush hush just in case insurance companies decided to show interest in a truck forum. Probably not needed though.

If I remember right, it was like 5 trucks that ended up with damage that day :bananadead::bananadead::bananadead::bananadead::bananadead: Fookin wild

I need to test out my new tires. but I'm completely fucked up with my fall allergies. I think it's outdoor mold this time of year. It really sucks.

Which side are you going in?

Exit 62? on I-90, by the snow park. My buddy has a TRX so we're going to go rip it and see what happens.

I'll be pulling out of Issaquah around 9:00 AM

That's smart. I've heard of them denying motorcycle claims because the riders social media was that bike at track days. You never know who's looking

ISO: Drivers side spindle for 05+ t4r/fj/tacoma/gx

or will settle for a set of super duty axles instead if that's all that's available. :anonymous:

What’s with you and “extras”? I’m currently trying to use a bottle jack to persuade the spindle back into position. Then see if I can weld something on it to hold it there temporarily. Right now the UCA will not move away from the tire no matter where I set the lca or tie rod

I’m a collector of things. My wife would say I’m parts a hoarder. When I find the whereabouts unobtainiam I mine it.

Well I got the spindle bent back enough to where the tire no longer contacts the UCA. This weekend I’ll hopefully be making a gusset template off of the passenger spindle and in theory I should be able to just mirror/180 the passenger side to come up with a drivers gusset so long as my passenger spindle isn’t shithoused also… :fingerscrossed::bananadead:

interesting trip to Oregon yesterday. There was an older lady in a car in front of us and she was going pretty slow for highway so I was pretty close behind her. A doe slowly stepped towards the road and I was on my brakes expecting her to come to a full stop. She didn't. at the last second the deer jumped out in front of her and it was a dead center solid hit. Deer helicoptered in the air and landed on the other side of the road. Huge explosion of fur in the air. Though she was only going about 35-38, it totaled her car. Deer was breathing and I went back and got my handgun but she expired by the time I returned.

A state trooper just happened to come by two minutes later so we were able to move on.

If you've ever taken 395 to John Day it seems everyone here has hit a deer or elk at some point. Pretty much all the trucks have local made plate bumpers. Deer smears.
