Speaking of Kendas price drop alert in the 33x10.5x17s Klever R/Ts at Walmart. $241 per -- now I am really considering these despite the 61lbs

I have the same size wheel coming for my 23 Pro. With those dimensions, I'm debating on what size tire to run without rubbing.

Negative offset "undo" a lot of the clearance benefits of the skinny tires. If that helps.

Add Nokian HAKKAPELIITTA 235/85/16's to the awesome skinny's. LT 10 plys coming in at 38lbs. And they are sticky icky. Made in Finland,

Think I'm going to go with 255/70r17's for them.

    Why? 255/70r17 isn't really a skinny,and it's so close to 265/70r17 which is a pretty standard option.

I'm on my 3rd set of Nokia snows here in Canada, used for the last 25 yrs. The best snow tire!! And I also run the 235's. Enjoy

I have the OEM stock Trd OR 16” wheels currently with a set of Geolanders. Is it worth upgrading to 17inch wheels? I really like the TRD pro style. Just daydreaming now but doesn’t hurt to learn a little.

    17x8.5 -10

Don't want to rub or upgrade suspension. What else would work to meet those conditions?

You may be over thinking this, or overestimating how big those sizes are. 265/70R17 is the size recommended for completely stock trucks. Even with - 10 offset I only really see you rubbing on the mud flaps.

Awesome! My first round with them on slushy logging roads.

This is my 1995 Toyota Tacoma that I bought in 1998. I have been building it out slowly for a few years now. I have followed several threads on the skinny tire. The latest upgrades are the wheels and tires. I bought the wheels 3 years ago and just got the BFG KM3 255/85/16 tires mounted. What a difference. I was afraid the -12 offset (OEM +15) would stick out too far. I like the wider stance and the skinny tires. I have the stock fender trim but would like some fender flares. If anyone knows of some for sale, please let me know.

    Edit: And HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Nokian is the company that literally invented the winter tire. They're the real deal.

Can anyone confirm the fitment on a 2022 SR 2wd 2.7? Stock steel 16" wheels. Will 255/85/16 fit, or should I go 235? Thank you

I figured everyone in this thread would be extremely interested in this. Credit goes to @TacoPandaTRD for finding it.

*Allegedly*, Falken will be releasing a 255/85/16 flavor of the AT4W and it will be C rated.

I’m not sure my heart can handle a C rated 255/85/16 C rated tire with a 55K treadwear warranty. It would be perfection.
