I have a 1998 ext cab where the speedometer tach, and odo stopped working. I purchased a used one off ebay now everything works great. Super stoked. However I would like the miles to reflect my original odo reading. I know there are people who offer services to correct this. But would it be as simple as swapping the odo module from one to another??

If it's the electronic odometer, it's only two screws and a ribbon cable and you can swap the odometer module over to your new one. The mileage is stored on an electronic ROM on the module itself.

Miles will transfer. The module is easy to spot, it's what the electronic ODO screen is plugged into. Just two phillips screws and the ribbon cable.
