    We always did that on Christmas Eve before we went to my grandma's house. We would leave out cookies, milk, glass of beer and a shot of brandy for Santa and sugar cubes for the reindeer. For years I would ask who ate and drank everything. Mom always said Santa.
    That was always part of the Christmas spirit for me.
    In 2018 when mom passed away, an old neighbor came forward and told us he was the Santa.
    For me, I still like to think it was Santa.
