It's totally calm weather and warm. No big storm fronts reported here yet.

Buy a semi, only takes 2mo to get your Class A and I hear a 10yr old used Pete 379t is only like $88k, probably on it's second Eaton 18spd and likely on its 3rd Cummins but hey that's trucking for ya

Kinda doubt it, it's a good engine but unless all you did was chew up highway miles I think it would be hard to reach 1mil without maintenance on one. Which seems to be what you're after really, a vehicle you can just drive while ignoring or otherwise putting off doing any real maintenance too.

    When's the wedding anyway?

Did you research what the biggest cake you can get without rubbing?

Or what brand shoes to wear with your tux?

There was a 1UZ with a milli, I think Matt Farrah still owns it.

You wouldn't want that either, you'd be losing what's left of your hair and probably some of your scalp about the A341E and it's only working in manual shift mode and having no reverse gear anymore. Then we'd have to hear about how Aisin transmissions aren't really any good.

I’d never heard of that, I thought they were bulletproof. I had heard of some ECM issues in the 90-94s tho.

The car has a million miles on it, what in the world makes you think a device that operates on a series of clutches, bearings, and hydraulic pressure should still be functioning at 100% operation anymore. It's old, used hard. The fact that it has any forward gears at all is amazing and by all means none of it should work anymore, it doesn't have to really, it's well beyond any manufacturer designed life and still "usable". BTW it was a hardware failure, bad low/reverse sprag and all of the sliding valves in the valve body have wallered out so they leak pressure internally from one circuit to another. But I think as usual you're completely missing the point, it's so well beyond its designed life that there's no reason to judge its failings, most won't even get that far to consider any of these issues.

Maybe EVs will last a million miles with no maintenance once they figure out solid state batteries.

It certainly possible. I still kind of foresee wheel bearings being a problem with all the extra weight. And then there's of course Toyota who is selling things to the EV market but banking it isn't going to work out and working on an alternative internal combustion option as well

Only takes 13 motor in a Tesla

I bet the Toyota / Honda EVs will be pretty long lived cars though
