    Ok. I took them out for a short test. First, the N2 psi was way off. One was at 280 psi, the other was at 30 psi. I pressurized them both to 120#. On the street, they are very firm, however, hitting larger bumps, they seem "ok" at this point. Im thinking the initial compression dampening is valved too firm. Im going to try to get out later and hammer them. FWIW, at an ambient temp af 84*, the rear shock body was at 97* while the resi was at 84*. For comparison, the front was 87*. I need to get them over 100* for any accurate comparos to be made. Once I beat on them, I'll post an "First impression" thread.

    As for rear "firmness", IMO that has to do more with the leafs. My truck feels completely different front and rear because I refused to sacrifice load capacity.

    Im gonna let Sonny work on them. Im going to hammer them tomarrow, and see how they are, and what dampening improvements need to be made.

    Most times, Yes. My Rear springs are perfectly matched for a 600# front spring. The 5100's, OME, rear shocks rode great, with a slight nod going twards the OME. The 5100's were about perfect with my Leeper fronts. These Icon rears have a much to firm initial compression dampening. I havent been able to test the rebound rates yet, and am hoping to tomarrow.

    I'm guessing you check the n2 at the end of the reservoir? Where would I go to fill it up If it was low? I installed these along with Alcan leafs on Saturday. My first impression was the rear was stiff on little bumps too. I don't have anything to compare to other than stock. I was thinking the leaves need to settle and the shocks needed to get dome cycles through them to soften things up.

    You can get them filled at a local cycle shop, or suspension performance shop. Also, Some tire places that use N2 should be able to fill them, though Im not sure they can go past 100 psi. Im going out today to beat on them and see if they "break in", but generally, Shocks dont require this. Otherwise, Im going to be talking to DSM and try to get the dampening set up correctly.
