Four quarts to a gallon. It's the only conversion I know.

The oil jugs are five quarts.

    Now we’re talking!

I’m balls deep in the suspension swap for the Land Cruiser.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
Well, I got some fun news today. Went to the doctor for what I suspected was a bone spur on the Achilles tendon. I was wrong. There are two. Worst case scenario will be surgery, cutting the tendon, remove the spurs, and reattach the tendon. 6 month recovery process. Anti inflammatory meds for now and PT if needed. Then surgery if that doesn't work. Happy happy joy joy.

Is there a possible scenario that doesn’t involve removing the tendon?

Not doing the surgery. One is on the inside of the heel and one is on the back. I actually had the right one done about 20 years ago and that did not involve cutting or removing the tendon. Six week recovery. I would prefer that, but these are not in a location that would allow that.

Can't complain too much. Got a wheeling trip in, dinner with friends, found a good burger joint, and got holiday pay. I'll take it.

It was quiet. Which is what I like. Forced myself to do some wrenching.

It was very last minute. Someone I met at Toyota's and Coffee in MD, Angela. She was complaining that the guys she has wheeled with typically find a 2WD fire road to camp on and won't actually go find a trail. And because she's a girl, some guys don't think she can drive. So we went on Friday after every thing got rained on. Almost had to follow a Bronco, but the drivers daughter didn't like the "bouncy road" so the bailed.

We were talking about going this coming weekend, but with the stuff I have to do and the possible snow / ice coming in, probably not the best of ideas. Weekend of the 13-14th might work, if we're not in TN and my compressor arrives on time. My HF compressor died a noble death. Not really, but it was three years old and did a couple dozen trails. I spent a little more this time. Don't tell. :anonymous:

With the water restrictions up here, my truck will be dirty for a while. Which is ok, it looks good!
