Hello from the Black Hills. Christmas showed up a day late.

 

Exciting morning. Got a call for a broken deadbolt on park restroom .
Showed up, homeless dude stumbles out, smoke and a new odor i have never smelled before rolls out of the restroom. Pretty sure it was meth, he fit the description.
This is part of the mess. Didn't stick around very long. Broken faucet, this was just replaced last month, all kinds of paraphernalia.

Had to call the Ranger for backup at this point, not putting my ass on the line. He was kind enough to stick around while we aired it out and the repair was done.
Parks dept called me and asked that after the repair that the restrooms be locked down.

Anyone know of a goose gear discount? I’m looking for the quickest and easiest sale, pick up and self-install. So someone like Juniper Overland or someone looking for a quick sale, but less profit margin, that’s be me.

My partner is looking for the RAV4 interior and although I do want to take the opportunity to build out a wood shop and buy fun things like routers, I have other things to do with my time.

Also, I may be the first RAV4 customer on their new park series unless it’s just luck that absolutely nobody has posted about it online.

Trying to learn about it. I really dig wolves. I also like beef, and hunting, and wilderness.
I generally dislike large cities and the ignorant people living in them imposing their will on others. I do, however, really like that some people like to live on top of each other and poop on the sidewalks or else none of us would be able to live away from all that.
It does seem strange to me that we keep entrusting the very people who screw everything up with "fixing" what they screwed up.
I'm guessing that the problems and advantages are likely exaggerated greatly on either side.

 

I was mildly impressed to wake up in ACO yesterday to 10" of snow on my truck - get to Golden to find dry(ish) roads. Came back from snowboarding and the sun's out in golden? Back in ACO the storm never moved. Just continued to dump

 

I've been doing my best not to eat anyone's pets

 

Had my insurance adjuster out here today. Totaled the truck. The good thing is they are paying me more than I bought it for and are allowing me to swap the wheels/tires. Looks like I have till Tuesday/Wednesday to get it done.
