They sound good, that's the plus side of an inline 6, mine is just loud and the top end has gotten super raspy, not a big fan of magnaflow style mufflers cause this always happens too fast.

Eh, I don't think she could be harder on it than I am. Towing 7000lbs up a grade letting it sit at 4500rpm in 2nd gear for 15mi probably isn't what Toyota had in mind for it.

Only thing I hate is buying new 4' x 8' sheets of 10 gauge; shit is heavy and awkward as fuck

I do need to grab some 12 gauge, just remnants so maybe I'll find a 4' x 4' or so

Holiday weekend kicked my ass so I've got a case of the 'I don't wannas'

Whats a sheet of that running these days? When i skinned my flatbed with 11 gauge floorplate/diamond plate in early 2021, it was like $380/sheet @ shop cost.

    4' x 8' 10 gauge out here is $150 (or $160)

I only buy 16 gauge ($75) 10 gauge, and 3/16" ($190) brand new, but lately I've only needed 16 gauge full sheets and everything else I try to grab drops from

$380 for 11 gauge is more than double the cost here, and I'm talking 2023 prices

@Kwikvette $3000 running GX. Too bad it’s all the way in Nashville. I’m sure it’ll be sold within a few hours.

    Rust probably got to it

You know, I bet you'd enjoy a GX

You'd have room for your girl and the pooch for days as you can remove the 3rd row easily and stow them away

My 3rd row looks mint and it just sits in the shed now in case I ever need them

Don't need to tell me that, I am well aware haha I love it for what it is. Honestly if I could drop it another inch I would but I'm already in the bump stops and the UCAs are pretty well maxed in their current configuration. Need to adjust the camber at the arms at some point.

Yea maintaince costa are probably lower than a 100 series, especially since most of them are pavement princesses with good maintenance histories.

Uhm, why would you assume they would cost less to maintain? Or more?

    It's a Toyota, and reliable just like a 5th Gen 4R, 4th Gen 4R, or 3rd Gen 4R, or 1st and 2nd Gen Taco.

The air suspension isn't even a standard feature on all GX470's as it was an option that is easy to replace anyway. Mine still works and is mostly all new (previous owner only ever used OEM parts for everything), I've just been too lazy to yank it out.

    Okay - bridge #1 crossed.
I can perhaps do this myself

Did your 135 have the PCV wiring harness recall as well?
I have had this recall open for at least 2yr with no remedy
From what I read the new harness just has an inline fuse so it won't overheat/flames - but I am not good with electrical. . .

Mine had the PCV heater dohickey and it never broke I just ziptied it out of the way.

Ill have to see what my buddies shop cost is for that since im curious now. And compare floor plate from then to now as well. That regular mild steel plate seems reasonable out there though.

I'm in several welding and CNC groups, hell even this forum's group and it blows my mind how much the cost of gas and raw materials is outside CA.
