So is it just a pick-n-pull for solar panels now or am I missing something here?

Aluminum first article done and passed. Media blasted to test finish. Now running my heat treated 15-5 parts... tested a setup piece and blasted it as well. Liking how they are coming out. Just have to finish these last two 15-5 pieces on op2 now, and finally this job is complete.

These better Intercept some countries shit protecting our great Nation after all this work... lol

    The part looks beautiful. :101010:

Seeing the finished part on a flat surface makes it more clear about the difficulty to build you were discussing the other day - it doesn't appear there is a flat surface or simple 90 degree corner anywhere -- wow. Nice job!:thumbsup:

That nice matte bronze finish might look good on some wheels.

It hasn't missed a beat - except when the 40 pound cylinder went empty. :anonymous:

I hooked it to the existing 60 gallon cylinder for the range - that will carry it until they set the large tanks (120 gallon x 2) on January 4th.

It has also been in the high 40's - low 50's here all week - costs are low = life is good.

Thank you! And yes.. I tried to capture all the weird compound angles and rads as best I could. What a PITA. The features alone were wild, plus all those internal Rads were originally called out as .060".. I struggled for over a week before asking my co-worker how his part family was going.. notices his were .125 Rads. They had 2 different Rad callouts in the same part family. after all that time it was a mix up and we were able to change mine to .125 Rads. Still a pain due to the design of the part.. but was finally actually able to make the features.

The darker colored one is just media blasted 15-5 stainless.

My week off and I'm up at 5:30 for the second time in two days to take a kid to an appointment. We couldn't do the first one because the order for the glucose tolerance test we need done wasn't submitted, hence today. This test takes three hours and kicks their ass and they turn into a bit of a bear so that's always fun.

Surprisingly, my other kid called about getting an ingrown toenail taken care of on Wednesday and they got him in in 90 minutes, gave him the option of having the nail completely removed but he'd probably have to go back in a few months to have the nail bed burned or just have the nail bed burned now. I had the same thing done 30 years ago to all 4 sides of my big toes so he chose wisely and just had them burn it. The bandage came off so I told him to wrap it in electrical tape. :D

    Good morning guys.

Seems like I’ve been on the go since Christmas Eve, thought it was going to be a slower day yesterday. That didn’t happen…

    Hoping for today!
