might want to clean your MAF and throttle body. Its supposed to be done every 30k miles. It will improve your mpgs slightly.

did you also get yours direct from them in Australia before they had a distributor? felt like i was one of the few that had it. also have the same issue as you, but i find if i use the autofill on first setting i dont have the issue of fuel splashing out

You say that is a SB - short bed - I thought those “front” side pockets were an exclusive LB feature.

    Am I wrong?

Might be my spring “Present” to my self. Will have to check on warranty stuff, but will be able to pay for it with the difference in Fuel prices.

The pockets were on every Tacoma until MY2012 ish. 99.9% of 2013s didn’t have them. I think I saw a rare account of one guy with a 2013 who had them but probably got a leftover bed when assembly changed from MY2012-2013

Yeah, drop shipped straight from Aus. I believe they ordered them in a large batch and divvied them up from there. I've tried both the slow and high rate auto adjusters on most fuel nozzles at the gas stations and they both seem to miss more than they hit. Apparently there's a fix for it but that requires dropping the tank which I'd rather not do. They said they'd send out the adapter piece, you just need to reach out to them.

yeah I have thought about the safety aspect of it and I do get the concerns with it. I had the same thoughts before I reinstalled it. I kind of think of it the same as carrying a jerry can all the time like a lot of people do. My only "real" concern safety wise is that it has no rollover safety but I dont plan on rolling the truck anytime soon so oh well.

I absolutely agree. It was one of those things where since the previous owner had installed it and I already had it for free AND the factory filler neck was already cut up I figured I would give it a try to see if I wanted to keep it or resell it. no harm done and no money spent

Thats exactly what I ended up doing. When I replaced the previous owners lines they were hard as a rock, So I just threw the corrugated stuff over the top of them to help mitigate.
