steering wheel locks after driving through water

    Injen intake, Toytec BOSS 3in lift kit, Light Racing UCAs, Dakar rear leafs, Toytec extended brake lines, RAT skid plate, Wet Okole seat covers.
    I noticed after driving through a puddle in a parking lot my steering wheel locked up while i was turning into a parking spot. What could be the cause?

    it actually did it about a year ago but hasnt happened since. it didnt shut off. it just would lock up, id turn the wheel back and then i could turn it a little more, it lock up again... i thought it may be a belt slipping...

    i first noticed it while offroading a year ago and it happened again a couple days ago.

    if thats it do you think just replacing the belt would fix it?

    Possibly, how many miles do you have on this belt?

    Well then that belt needs to be replaced either way, and it may even fix your problem, too.

    Hood Strusts, remote Start, truck came with Leveling kit and wheels.

    Belts are cheap. I think you can get all 3 for $30. and it takes about 30 mins to remove and install..
