If you are lucky, new splines and a hub ring will be all you need.

Looking that way, some guys aren't using the hub rings to use the caps, we shall see.

If you end up having to grind anything on the Ray's to make it work, I would not do it. I would just sell the wheels and wait for the market to catch up. Besides, you'll have Pro wheels in May. lol

Ya I was probably just going to sell them to a buddy in the first place and run stock, but everyone keeps telling me the same fitment including the Ray's rep who said Japan confirmed too (which I'm skeptical). Im not about to chop up crap or make stuff fit to fit, in no rush. And Rays aren't hub centric for our trucks as is, the bore is like 110 I think and we are 106 and change so most guys rocking them with caps now aren't doing so as hub centric. I havent noticed any issue with mine.

Did you try using google or searching the thread? Lots of what you are wondering about takes 3 minutes of research. This thread is to talk about how Subarus are better than tacomas for overlanding but if you need a tacoma just get a 1 ton denali.

I read the wheel studs are bigger: 14mm compared to the old 12mm

I was just reading an article about Toyotas new $10,000 truck. It’s insane that you could buy 4 of these trucks for the price of 1 base Tacoma. Are the creature comforts and safety features really costing $30K?

That’s not $10k, though. It has bedsides, which aren’t even included in the $10k number.

That is just the stock photo that everyone is using. Don’t think I have seen a picture without the tray. Base price is $10K, fully optioned out comes to around $16,500. So basically half of a base Tacoma. Don’t think you can get them in 4WD, if you could still would be under $20. Has three engine options including a diesel.

Real men don’t need HVAC. ;) :) My wife is more of a man than me, she drove our ‘73 VW Bus for 8 years in Arizona. My ‘85 4Runner didn’t have AC, did that for the first 5 years I lived in AZ that was miserable.

Found you a configurator. Will need google translate on your end. Base is really $13,500, but the online mags like to say $10,000.

Once again the discussion has gone right over your head. There seems to be a pattern here.

It was a joke about how little the supposed $10k truck actually provides.

We would all say we want it, but it probably wouldn’t actually sell that well.
