A 2024 SR DCSB 4X4 Auto MSRP is close to what my 2020 OR DCSB 4X4 Auto MSRP was. Yikes!!!

I financed $20k on each of the GX's, which was the majority of the upgrade cost. Couldn't pass up the 2.49% 48 mo. money that Lexus offered. My toy money difference I "used" for the upgrades is sitting in "cash" at FIDO. My cash sweeps into SPAXX that is currently earning 5%. It was in a 5.4% CD from JP Morgan but those bastards called it early lol. Boom, right back to SPAXX.

My heart said, "Write the check, this is what you saved that toy money for. No payment!". My maths said "Listen dumbass, it would be stupid to pass up free money". Being a hillbilly, with a little knowledge thrown in, can be burdensome at times.

Guy who works for me had to finance a chair at Aaron’s. I feel bad for his money management. He also informed me he’s retiring next year at 40. I don’t think he understands what retirement is.

Ok, of that 4.5% (which isn't for the life of a typical loan), you can subtract taxes on that interest too. For me, cash is king. I live a debt free life, paid off mortgage, plenty of other investments. Life is good.

The 2000 had a minor rear ending and sold it for the '07. The '07 hit a dog, then a then a curb, then a rock, then a tree, in the same incident. It was actually drivable to the body shop, but the frame was bent, and they totaled it. Some unsuspecting person is probably driving what was a pretty nice low milage TRD OR. That was going to be my "I'm going to drive this thing forever" truck. The 2000 I was too young and dumb and wanted a new shiny truck to realize it should have been a keeper. I modified that one in some of the worst imaginable ways.
