Governments in the United States, Canada, and Europe are pushing electric car mandates and manufacturers are moving all R&D to electric vehicles. When these mandates fail, there will be big bailouts for all the big automakers. Bureaucrats and corporate executives will pocket billions at taxpayer expense.

 

What’s wrong with electric vehicles

As a power train option there is nothing wrong with them. They come with tradeoffs but so do other engines. But a compulsory changeover of 70% -100% of vehicles to electric by 2030 - 2035 across the USA, Europe, and Canada? That's unrealistic, invasive to individual choice, and unlikely to sustain a few election cycles as a policy.
