I just got a message back from the vendor on Amazon. They want my order details, and I think they'll send me a replacement :fingerscrossed:.

Just installed my 8 gang system this afternoon. I like that the backlight is customizable and auto dimming. Only have my rock lights and under hood light hooked up right now. Took advantage of Diode Dynamics sale and have ditch lights and a stealth light bar on the way.

I just got some great news!! I'm getting a replacement cover from the Amazon vendor. The customer service was great! It's was simple, to the point, and done. It was this bad boy. It just went on sale. I paid 125 for it a few weeks ago, now it's $99. If you have to deal with customer service, I hope you get Dale. (Thanks, Dale!)

Did you 3D print that panel yourself? Or is that a panel that's available somewhere to relocate all of those switches and mount the AuxBeam?

EDIT >> Disregard, I read back through and see that's available in a few places and this is just a 3rd Gen setup. Haven't seen anything real cool yet for a 2nd Gen.

Also...can't help myself...dood, you got a jellyfish launcher on your truck?!?!?

I bought the panel from Cali Raised LED it’s branded as the Guild Outfitters panel.

And lol, launching jelly fish all the time!

No, but it is RGB, and the momentary function is what I needed. For 99 bucks it ain't bad at all. I honestly was trying to find a reason to get a one with Bluetooth, and I could not find a valid one.

    Fair enough! Nice find.
I don't really need the BT either but it is a cool function.
With my new power switch, I leave the panel on at night and if we need to use the washroom when up in the RTT, I just turn on my scene lights with my phone. My girlfriend hates the dark lol

I guess that's one reason to have a Bluetooth remote. I pack a few LED lanterns that I spread around the site after dark so we don't walk into tent lines or anything I might have rigged with ropes or stakes. They usually stay on all night, and they last at least 3 week-long trips on one set of batteries.

Would I have any worries wiring power from switch panel straight to the battery?

Just make sure you add a fuse in the line.
Why do you want it straight to the battery?

one thing that is okay on the 2nd gen is if you pull all the plugs from the top 3 switches the 6 gang one sticks over that most perfectly. moved all my switches down to the lower dash areas and it fits well there, though almost overkill since im back to 3 needed switches

I’d like to have constant power so I can turn the lights on without having to put key in the ignition. Is there a better way to wire for that option?

I really like the way I ran mine (quoted above).
You could also just run the panel power through a regular switch to the battery.

How are people mounting there 8 gang on the side panel, I saw a few ranging from 50 to 150 for the 3d model, so use 3m tape lol. Any recommendations

Installed an MKING 8 Gang Switch Panel (Aux Beam Amazon clone) today and it works just fine. On my 2012, the best spot for the switch panel that I could find was the fuse cover coin tray. I had to do some cutting on the coin tray, but it works and folds out of the way when not in use.

Has anyone tried to direct wire a set of 20w cornering pods Into the relay gang box ? My bar and 5inch pods are relay to the box its self but I'm going to run a double pod 5inch/3 inch flood for side view. The auxbeam 8gang box it's self has individual fuses and a relay on breaker. Safe or would it draw to much ? Basically being lazy and cheap don't wanna buy a harness just for a set of 20w side pods.
