Finally got off my ass and de-bendified by alu engine skid plate and installed the RCI (metal) transmission skid plate.
I'll likely swap out the alu one for a steel one at some point as well.
I was amazed on how well the alu resisted bending back with using the truck's weight and the bottle jack, yet how easy I was able to 'fix' it with a BFH.
Anyhoo, either I debendified it too much or the nylon spacers used for the RCI plate 're-arranged' the location as the spacers that go in the middle of the alu plate
now seem to short. Anyone have any lead on where to get some nylon spacers? Only needs maybe quarter inch thick ?

You should be able to tighten the bolt until the skid plate meets up with the spacer?
