Are we talking about the Colorado? As in the Chevy Colorado? From what I understand, the Silverado is a sort of OKish (barely) truck, but the Colorado is a giant bag of ass. Muchos problemas.

They like to toss those dog boxes in the bed. Had mine down some super trails, and looking at the tracks, certain traveled mostly by SXS. 1st Gen track max width is around 57”. Legal SXS trails here in Idaho are 64”.

    Yeah…that is call sarcasm. :)

Those poor poor G Wagon owners, wonder how they manage with 585 hp on tap?

Interesting that when you open models for Toyota on that link, the Tacoma was not one of the included models.

Aside from the fact that it’s got a six-figure car’s worth of sound deadening, you’ll find lots of road and wind noise discussions on g-wagon forums

Friend of mine has one, can’t say I noticed much wind noise. Though I am kind of oblivious, also think the 3rd Gen Tacoma has plenty of power and the seats are comfortable.

I want to look at one of these trucks at the dealership, anyone know when they might start popping up?

You'd probably have to camp out and happen to see one coming off a carrier before going into the detail shop for delivery prep.

When I use smart path it shows some in build phase being delivered to Florida. Too far for me. Our dealer is saying late February or march before they will see their first G4 taco…

Would imagine this is how most TRD ORs on the lot will be equipped.

WTF. Thousands of dollars of BS added on. That’s one of those packages where you get a heated steering wheel but no mention of heated seats. Weird.

I definitely see a bunch of Upgrade package plus 14” screen trucks out there. At this price point though just find one with Premium package and it’s $2,000 more MSRP wise.

At that price point, certainly wouldn’t be buying a Tacoma. I like it and all, but don’t like it that much. So many other choices at that price point.
