Good morning :pccoffee: And a Happy Birthday to @ImpulseRed008 hope it is a great day for you Susan!

I grew up an hour and a half from the Beaverkill. But fished more on Slate Run and the Pa. streams including little and big Pine. When I was stationed on recruiting duty in Lancaster, Pa. of course fished Big Spring and the LeTort. LeTort runs through the Army War College in Carlisle. Those were my first introduction to limestone streams. Got to know Bob Clouser pretty good in Middletown. Sigh those were the good old days.

Don't let any of those guys know about the Davidson LOL, then they will all want to fish it!

We had snow 2 months ago here and now the ground is brown. You can keep it down there, please?! Hasn't gotten below zero here yet this year and I'm liking it. A lot. But one of my chores this weekend is make sure the snowblower starts still it has been a couple of months before I tried it. The jet stream will change eventually but hope it takes it time

I'll help you get started this morning Jim. Slot limit trout, Fly Fishing only stream. DNR is begging people to stop releasing trout in the slot to make room for fish to grow bigger. OK I'll play

Heading out to pick up some last minute provisions for the weekend. Wife needs a bottle of wine, and a stop at the Cannabis store, it’s legal in Michigan. :rasta:New Year tradition for my wife and I, glass of wine and a joint. Make us feel like we’re in our twenties again.:D There’s more weed stores by me than there are gun stores, I guess that’s a good thing.o_O

Seems to be a bit of an odd winter for a lot of folks. The last couple winters we had more wind. This winter has been relatively calm and seems warmer. We should've hit somewhere in the 30's for mornings by now but still about 10° warmer. Makes for great camping weather.

What makes you think I’m going to take you out? Keep torturing me and I’ll never tell you the good spots!
I think I know how to win dad over ;)
And I’d love to have a whole separate room to set up for quilting but for now the dining table works fine

Muskrats?! I give 3 or 4 muskrat hides (don't recall exactly) and a big boar coon skin for my first fly rod. That was over 50 years ago now... It was a yellow fiberglass Shakespeare rod with level line and pretty sure the leader was rotted cat gut. Autowind reel that worked sometimes, other times it didn't. Straight tippet. I caught a lot of tree trout with that outfit the first year or so. It handled like a broomstick. Nah I think a broomstick had more flex LOL.
