That's too much work. Harbor Freight prolly has some cast iron castors that would work. Might even have speed holes cross drilled in them.

Low speed conveyance? Sweet. I no longer have to stop at a stop sign in my Prius.

Had a fun time removing a toilet that the contractor's plumber installed incorrectly in my basement. I don't think I can post the photo of what it looked like underneath without getting banned. I complained to the contractor a month back about the sewer smell in the bathroom and they said they would send the plumber back out to look at it, but after weeks of nothing I was tired of the smell and dealt with it myself.

Basically the plumber didn't know how to install the toilet I supplied because it used a special flange adapter and instead of a normal wax ring. Instead of saying something or looking up the instructions, they just glued it down with silicone and no bolts. When they installed the toilet flange, they set it down to low, so it was 3/4" below the top of the tile. Instead of adding the spacer rings I also provided, they just used a double wax ring, which still wasn't tall enough, so the wax rings weren't even compressed. I think they also didn't get the toilet discharge aligned over the toilet flange because it clogged very easily, and they couldn't use the bolts in the flange to align it when setting it.

After cleaning everything up the smell quickly disappeared, and I'll be reinstalling a new toilet (correctly) tomorrow.

Just wanted to vent about it.

    /end rant

Contractor/plumber - name names - we won't judge but will thank you that none of us call on their worthless asses to do any work for us. Just saying.

BMAC was the GC. I don't know the plumbers company. Other then the toilet, I was happy with the plumber. His mistake was sending his C-team guy for the install since it seemed easy enough, and then the contractor fell through with getting the plumber back out to inspect.

Made some headway on my truck today. Skids, sliders, winch, roof rack, bumpers front and rear, and smartcap removed. I have some wheels/tires in the works to swap out, that leaves just the suspension to go. Since I have 12" shocks with tower relocation in the rear, I don't think factory takeoffs will work. I think I can just pull them and the leaf pack will keep the rear in place?

Yep, the leaf springs are what actually holds the axle in place. The shocks just smooth its movement. Springs alone are plenty to get the truck onto a rollback. You even could drive at low speed on springs alone but it wouldn't be safe at faster speeds.

Sorry just now seeing this. I have access to a TIG machine but don’t have the skillz. Have a friend that can most likely help if this is still needed

I don't have enough posts to start a thread in the buy/sell section. I'm going to be selling my Tacoma soon :(, so I no longer need my KB Voodoo crossbars. If rules allow and anyone is interested, I can share a link to my Craigslist post.

I'm in Fort Collins, but I could meet on the north side of Denver if need be.
